Adventures in SoNo

Yesterday we went on an adventure to SoNo with Melissa, Lily and Miles. In our local mall we were approached by a talent company that will remain un-named. So like two suckers we bit and made an appointment for the kids and headed to SoNo.

When we arrived they had no record of our appointment (Red Flag #1), but the receptionist did kindly offer to make us an appointment *grin* When we were filling out our paper work a women came up to us and told us her opinion of "talent agency". She was there to try and get her $1500 back and she told us her story and how the Better Business Buerau has pages of complaint and two open cases agains the company. (Red Flag #2). This is when we looked at each other and took our paper work and walked out. Oh well, the husbands were right it was a scam, but it was also an adventure.

Well we weren't going to let this ruin our day, we were afterall down by the water, so what were we going to do with the rest of our day. I snapped some cute pictures of the kids at the Sheffield Island Lighthouse dock.

I swear the boys don't spend all their time in a stroller, it is just hard when you are on the go, it's hot and they aren't walking yet.

A little lovin'

Silly Girl

The lighting was great for these two pictures that I got of Lily, I didn't even have to do anything to retouch them *grin*
Then, we headed to the Norwalk Beach and went for a walk along the beach and let the girls play on the Sounds Fun Playground, which they loved. The playground was great and there was a "beached" pirate ship to play on which they loved, so much climbing, you know everyone slept well tonight *grin*

What a little monkey, Lily climed up and when she asked for help getting down, I told her to wait a sec, so that I could grab my camera to get her picture.
