On the Menu?

So, now that school has started back up so has packing lunches and this ranks right up there with grocery shopping. Anyone who knows me knows that I HATE to go grocery shopping and will do just about anything to avoid it. Well, making lunches for 3, sometimes 4 people, four or five days a week is a close runner up. I make the usuals; peanut butter and jelly, cold cut sandwiches, soy nuggets, turkey meatballs, veggies and left overs (from dinner the night before) we are lucky because the school that the kids go to will heat their meals, we don't have to send them in a thermos. For snacks, I send fresh fruit, dried fruit, nuts (for Allie only) yogurt, cheese, animal crackers or other small crackers/cookies (as a treat). I try and use as much organic as possible. What do you pack for lunch? Do you have any good lunch ideas?

My boys love beef jerkey so I will give them that in their "snack (sack)" lunches on occasion to sneak some protein in.

Also hard boiled eggs sometimes too. Hmmm, those are the only kind of non-standard lunch faire I can think of at the moment.

Mine get so sick of the pb&j's and fruit snacks though too so I hear ya.
