Random Weekend Thoughts

1. Long weekends are great!

2. A week off from work is even better than a long weekend!

3. I have read more in the last week than I have in the last 4 years!

4. I am obsessed with the Twilight book series. I read Twilight in 4 days and New Moon in less than 3! I can't wait to start Eclipse, but I have to wait until tomorrow, my mom got it for me for Easter!

5. I can't wait to see the kids in their Easter outfits tomorrow! This year I finally got smart and got Allie an outfit that she won't FREEZE in and Jack's outfit is so cute too!

6. I can't wait for Cadbury eggs tomorrow... my fav!

7. Can't wait to see Allie on her new bike tomorrow!

8. I am hoping for some nice weather tomorrow. If I wanted all this rain, clouds and dreary weather I would live in Washington or Oregon!

9. I need to figure out how to get the presets from my old computer moved over to this one! It is becoming a major pain!

What a Morning...

We've all had days like this, your morning starts out with a bang! Well, Jack woke up with PINK EYE! AGAIN! I have lost count of how many times he has had it. So, I started out with cleaning up his eyes with a warm wash cloth which he LOVED! NOT! Then had Matt come in and hold him down (nice visual, huh) so that I could get the drops into his eyes! He HATES this! Then I moved on to getting him changed and ready for school. Well as I did I realized that the drops must have loosed up more of the junk from his eyes and I grabbed the "warm" wash cloth to wipe his eyes and he freaked out and PEED on ME and all over himself! So needless to say I was running late. Then, I brilliantly decided to take my antibiotic in the morning and on an empty stomach! Well, just as Jack and I drove up to his school, I started to feel nauseous, but I took some deep breaths and trudged on! When I got inside I was greeted by someone else's "barf" in the hallway! Nice, huh! So I quickly dropped Jack in his classroom and decided that I would go to Dunkin' Donuts and get a muffin to hopefully calm my rather angry stomach. Didn't work, a few miles down the road I ended up needing to stop and use a bathroom (if you get what I mean *grin*!) Thankfully that did the trick and it also turned my day around. The rest of the day has been pretty good, well except for all the rain we have been getting. I can't wait for the weekend, it is supposed to be really nice and in the mid to upper 60's! YEAH!!! Then only 4 days until April vacation! Yipee!!!
